This past weekend was a busy one! I have to give a huge shout out to my husband who held down the fort and entertained the kids pretty much all weekend while I was gone. Don’t feel too bad for him, since he’s had a few hunting trips this year where he was gone for the weekend. We make a good team!
Friday morning I grabbed coffee and food with a blogger friend of mine, Tia over at WranglingTheLes. She has helped me and my blog grow SO much since I moved here to Vegas and I will be forever grateful for her help and guidance. We met up and hung out over coffee, then decided to shop for a little while. After she went home, I went to a nearby nail salon and got my nails done. After that I called Chris to see if he and the kids needed anything and he said no and that they were getting lunch and heading to the park afterwards. He makes the momming thing look easy! I couldn’t believe he was already out of the house with all three kids. I asked him what were the kids wearing, because you guys know how dads dress kids sometimes, right? Haha! He responded, “Nothing. They’re all naked.” *insert eyeroll*. Anyway, I headed to the park they were at and spent the afternoon back at home.
On Saturday I had an event to attend in Boulder City at the Beauty Kitchen Boutique grand opening. Chris held it down at home again while I headed out.. again. Who even am I? I’m usually such a homebody, but I’m so thankful I was invited to this event and I had such a great time!
Upon arriving, I was offered a glass of champagne right away (yasss honey!) There was an assortment of donuts, cotton candy, chocolate covered oreos and other treats outside of the boutique. The girls at the boutique gave me a huge goodie bag of the Beauty Kitchen products and asked me to pose for some red carpet photos. I was really getting spoiled, y’all. There were a number of other influencers there and we were all treated like celebrities!
Speaking of celebrities, Emily and Gina from The Real Housewives of Orange County attended the event, too! They were so sweet and really fun to hang out with. It was so fun browsing the Beauty Kitchen Boutique and all of the amazing products that Heather Marianna has come up with. The soaps and bath bombs looked like real food! Check out this next photo!
The Beauty Kitchen Boutique has a huge variety of products, from robes to coffee mugs to scrubs, masks and so much more! You can even make your own perfume, lip colors, etc. Heather has really thought of it all! The best part is that Beauty Kitchen is built on 100% natural skincare and cosmetics without using chemicals to preserve products.
I absolutely LOVE Boulder City, Nevada. It’s just 20 minutes from the Las Vegas strip and it’s the cutest little town with so much character. After the event, I grabbed lunch with those two girls you see me talking to in this photo above. We had lobster rolls and wine and talked all things blogging. I’ll link Margareth’s blog here! She posts mostly about her travels, but her style will grab your eye, too! Her and her friend are the sweetest and I hope to you run into them again soon!
